Paid Leave (Christmas) Article 12.10

The majority of AAPS members will receive the three days of paid leave between Christmas and New Year's as a form recognition for additional hours of work or as a form of recognition for other contributions they make.

We want to remind AAPS members that this paid leave is not an entitlement

AAPS Office Closure

 

The AAPS Office will be closed starting Monday, December 25, 2016 and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday, January 3, 2016.

Should you have an emergency labour relations situation during this time, please phone the office and leave a voicemail. One of the Member Services Officers will be checking the voicemail regularly and will be able to assist you.

AAPS Staff working remotely on Friday December 9


Due to the anticipated inclement weather in Vancouver, AAPS staff members will be working from home on Friday, December 9. While the physical office is closed, we are available to assist you by phone and email.

Inivitation to Participate in UBC M&P Staff Research

 

Dear AAPS Members,
 

Nancy Vered is working on her PhD thesis and is looking for fellow AAPS members to participate in her research.

Specifically, she is looking to speak with UBC Management & Professional staff members whose job descriptions require a graduate degree or specialized training.
