Your Input is Needed to Create the UBC Presidential Position Profile

Dear Members,

AAPS strongly encourages you to participate in the UBC Presidential Search by contributing your input to the presidential position profile. This profile will form the basis from which the executive search firm and Presidential Search Committee will recruit and evaluate potential candidates.

It is imperative that AAPS members play a role in developing the profile and have their experience and expectations understood by the Presidential Search Committee.

An Update from AAPS Regarding the Reserve Fund Surplus

 

Dear AAPS Members,

As discussed at the 2015 Spring General Meeting and 2015 Fall AGM, the issue of the Association’s excess reserve was investigated, reported, and presented to you, as a web link, for feedback and suggestions on how the excess may be spent down.  Responses were required by November 30, 2015. Help Build the UBC President's Profile

 

The Search Committee for UBC’s next president is looking to gather feedback from the UBC Community to help build the candidate profile. AAPS encourages all members to participate in this process by submitting feedback to the committee and by attending the town halls in January.

It is vitally important that you lend your voices, expertise, and leadership to this discussion.

Additional GWI for May 1, 2016

 

As noted in a previous memo members, an additional General Wage Increase of 0.45% will be implemented as the result of the Economic Stability Dividend, negotiated on your behalf as part of your 2014–2019 Collective Agreement.
