PG Campus: Register by Aug 23 for the Welcome Back BBQ

Each year, the President’s Office and Human Resources welcomes UBC staff to the new academic year with the Welcome Back Staff BBQ. Held in September and produced by Ceremonies & Events, the event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a complimentary lunch, live entertainment from Mazacote latin band, information booths, and the camaraderie of your fellow UBC staff colleagues. Be sure to look out for the AAPS table and come say hello to one of our member services officers.

The UBC Presidential Search Committee will be hosting two open houses in the first week of July. While AAPS Board President Jacqueline Smit sits as a representative on the committee, we encourage all AAPS members to contribute their ideas to the committee in person or in writing.

July 9 — Road Closures around the AAPS Office

Dear AAPS Members,

On Tuesday July 9th UBC will be hosting the UBC Grand Prix.

The course circles the TEF III Building where the AAPS Office is located. The AAPS Office will be open for business as usual on July 9th, but if you are coming to visit us, please allow yourself some extra time to get to our office and be sure to follow the directions of the race coordinators when crossing the street.  Please note that the parking lots beside the building and the roadways around the building will not be accessible by car.
