AAPS Office Closed: Monday May 22

 

The AAPS Office will be closed Monday May 22 for the Stat holiday.

Two wage increases in effect May 1 2017

 

All members are impacted by the May 1, 2017 General Wage Increase and Economic Stability Dividend. These wage increases will be reflected on your May 15, 2017 paycheque.

Get Out and Vote!

Tuesday May 9, 2017 is the General Election is BC.

Polls are open from 8am-8pm.

AAPS strongly encourages members to vote in the upcoming provincial election.

For those that are not eligible to vote, there are still opportunities to participate. We hope you will all make your voices heard in this election.

National Volunteer Week: AAPS Celebrates our Outstanding Volunteer Award Recipients

 

At the 2017 Spring General Meeting, AAPS President Andrea Han presented the recipients of the AAPS Outstanding Volunteer Award to the members.

Chris Skipper and Justin Marples were both long-serving AAPS volunteers. Chris was a dedicated New Member Information Session facilitator, guiding new members through their first introduction to AAPS. National Day of Mourning for Workers

 

Across Canada, April 28 is designated the Day of Mourning.

Together with our colleagues across the labour movement we honour workers injured or killed on the job and those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational disease.
