Instructor Bio

Daniel Skarlicki is a Faculty Member in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Division of the Sauder School of Business and the Edgar F. Kaiser Chair of Organizational Behavior.

He has over twenty-five years of managerial, consulting, and training experience with organizations such as Government of Canada, Business Objects (Shanghai), The City of Calgary Police, The Government of Ontario, The Canadian Psychological Association, Cathay Pacific Airways, Petroleum Helicopters Inc., Phizer, YMCA, TELUS, Fraser Valley Health Region, Roland Berger Consultants, VanCity, Solectron(Shanghai), The Walkerton Inquiry, and Glaxo, Inc.

He received his PhD from University of Toronto. He recently received the Sauder Outstanding Researcher Award and the CGA Master teaching Award at UBC. He is a Visiting Professor at HEC in Paris. He has taught in executive programs around the world, including Canada, United States, Mexico, Chile, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Taiwan, and China.

Professor Skarlicki received the Western Academy of Management’s 2000 Ascendant Scholar Award. His research focuses on the effect of justice in the workplace. His papers are widely published in top business and psychology journals.
