Summer Networking Session: First Nations Longhouse

Point Grey Campus
First Nations Longhouse, 1985 West Mall
AAPS Summer Networking Series 2014, includes lunch

Joins AAPS for our last summer networking session of the season! We will be touring the First Nations Longhouse at Point Grey Campus. The Longhouse provides a venue for Aboriginal programming and events as well as serving as a cultural and social centre where students can study and learn in a surrounding that reflects Aboriginal cultures. It also provides a central location for Aboriginal peoples to share their knowledge and cultures with one another, with the University, and with the wider community.

It is also the location for a wide variety of resources and services, including Xwi7xwa Library. The building itself reflects the architectural traditions of the Northwest Coast.
