The UBC Farm has been an integral part of UBC’s South Campus and one of the early examples of the impact a Living Laboratory can have on teaching, learning, and community engagement. If you have never had the opportunity to visit the farm for a meeting, workshop, or the market, now is your chance! We’ll tour the grounds and see sustainable food systems research in action. The UBC Farm is certified organic and grows over 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The Farm is also home to honey bees and egg-laying, open-pasture hens.
