2017 Performance-Based Merit Pay Program Information


On August 3rd, 2017 UBC HR released a memo regarding the 2017 Performance-Based Merit Pay Program. The memo was sent to Deans, directors, managers and heads of academic and administrative units at both Vancouver and Okanagan Campuses.

If you qualify for merit, you may wish to review this memo to gain a better understanding eligibility criteria and timelines for this year.

If you qualify for merit, your manager or administrator will be the best point of contact for information on how and when merit will be implemented within your department/unit.

Your Collective Agreement speaks to the performance-based merit pay model in Section 5 of Letter of Agreement #1: Pay Structure and Salary Administration Policy.
