Power Over Stress Seminar - March 6, 2012

President’s Service Award: Invitation for Nominations

AAPS members are invited to submit nominations for the 2012 President’s Service Award for Excellence, the top award presented to UBC staff in recognition of contributions to the University and excellence in personal achievements.

Permanent members of staff with 10 years or more of UBC service are eligible for nomination. The deadline for nominations this year is Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 4:30 pm. Read more about President’s Service Award: Invitation for Nominations

Bargaining 2012 Update: Highlights of Roundtables

As part of the consultation process for the upcoming round of collective bargaining, a series of roundtables were conducted at UBC’s Point Grey and Okanagan campuses and at VGH. The roundtables were well attended and provided the opportunity for a robust exchange of ideas among members.

Despite a wide variation of work locations and experiences, several core themes emerged from the dialogue: job security, compensation, professional development funding, and hours of work. Read more about Bargaining 2012 Update: Highlights of Roundtables
