Chartered Professional Accountant, Dayna Holland's enthusiastic and friendly approach may even help you look forward to filing your taxes this year. In addition to the presentation, there will also be plenty of time for questions.

This presentation will cover:

  • Brief overview of the Canadian tax system
  • Updates on any changes to your personal income tax
  • Tips for planning ahead to next tax year

Additional discussion on:

  • Credits vs. Deductions
  • Earning rental income
  • Marital breakdowns and the CRA
  • Caring for an elderly relative
  • Death and taxes

Audience

This session is designed for members who do not have much experience filing their taxes or who have previously only filed a simple income tax form and would like to get a better understanding of different tax issues. It will be similar to past presentations.  Not sure if this session is right for you? Contact us at aaps.pd@ubc.ca
