Dear AAPS Members:

Notice of Meeting

This is your notice of the AAPS Annual General Meeting which will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The meeting is being held in the Ponderosa Centre - Arbutus Room on the Point Grey Campus. Click here for location map. Just a reminder that UBC has agreed, as a condition of your employment, that it is your right to attend the full meeting from 1200 to 1400.

The meeting will also be available as an on-demand webcast beginning at 12:00 pm. The webcast will enable any AAPS member to observe and participate on their computer from anywhere in the world. A link to the webcast was sent to AAPS members via email. If unable to locate the link, please contact the AAPS office. There will also be webcast viewing rooms organized for the UBC Okanagan Campus and VGH location. Please click the appropriate link to send an email to the AAPS office if interested in attending at either of these locations.

Board Elections – Electronic Voting Procedure

Thank you to all who responded to the previous calls for nominations. This year there will be an election for the five Member-at-Large (1-year term) positions. Everyone will have the opportunity to vote.  Previously only those in attendance at the Annual General meeting could vote.  Click here for the list of Candidates and instructions for accessing the "now open" online voting system. The acclaimed and elected candidates will be introduced at the meeting.

This meeting is open to AAPS members only. If you plan to attend, please send an email to aaps.office@ubc.ca  as soon as possible to help with catering arrangements and to assist with the sign-in process.  Attendees will receive confirmation emails.
