About the Presenter

For many the word tax doesn't always bring happy thoughts, it's Dayna’s mission to change that. Her goal is to share her knowledge and expertise and to bring new awareness and understanding when it comes to tax implications and planning. Nothing brings her more joy than when a client finds out about a deduction they didn't know about — that's why educating clients is one of Dayna’s favourite things to do!

Outside the world of accounting, Dayna enjoys most of her spare time skiing and camping with her husband, son and daughter. So working with the ins and outs of personal taxes for sole proprietors and families, is something that she is very familiar with too.

Dayna is CA with Invictus Accounting Group. She has been specializing in corporate tax compliance work for the past 12 years. Dayna started her career as a chartered accountant in Ernst & Young and has over nine years of experience in industry within the telecommunications and service sectors, for multi-national companies, both private and public corporate structures. Her expertise is in income tax and commodity tax compliance as well as documenting and implementing tax processes for companies.  She has also implemented a number of corporate reorganizations plans for these companies. Her current scope of clients includes companies in mining, service, high-tech, telecommunications, property development, and transportation sectors.
