Celebrate Mental Health Awareness This Week
The Canadian Mental Health Associaiton’s 65th Annual Mental Heath Week runs from May 2–8, 2016
Take the opportunity this week to check in on your own mental health and take one small action to help improve or sustain good mental health, such as getting outside for a break each day.
AAPS is Here to Help
Make sure you understand the sick time provisions for members that have passed their initial probationary period. Remember once you have passed your initial probationary period you have up to sick months per illiness or injury. You do not bank sick days annually.
If you are preparing to take a sick leave, let us know if you have questions about the documentation needed.
Please contact us at aaps.office@ubc.ca if you have any questions about sick time and sick leave documentation.
