About Our Program
The AAPS Professional Development Program encourages members at all locations to develop professional skills to enhance your current work environment, support your career goals, and personal life. The program aims to connect members through various learning opportunities and share the association's objectives in creating respectful and just workplaces.
Please have a look at our past sessions by visiting the Past Events page.
AAPS is a separate organization from UBC and UBCO. The AAPS Professional Development Program is solely for the members of the Association of Administrative and Professional Staff. Only AAPS members can participate in our programs. Our programs are offered to members at no upfront cost.

Networking
AAPS typically hosts a series of networking events throughout the year, giving you an opportunity to build your professional network and often learn a little something, too. Past events have included wine tasting, tours of interesting places and spaces at UBC, pub nights, and recreational events. If you have ideas for member networking and social events, please let us know.
