Focus Area: Management and Leadership Skills

Program Summary

Change in our workplaces can be unsettling and challenging. As a manager, we know that our teams are looking to us for the answers. Using best practices in Change Management through the Making Change Work Insights model, participants will analyze their current work situations and teams, using the powerful language and learning of a simple, four-quadrant colour model. With a focus on developing management and leadership skills required as a change sponsor and a change agent, participants will explore what changes they can make to their own communications style and approach to create more positive outcomes to situations.

This session is reserved for members who are managers with direct staff reports. If you are not a manager with direct staff reports, please see our related topic, Professionals: Adapting to Your Changing Work Environment. What past participants have said about Shauna’s programs

Shauna was very well prepared; she knew the topic very well: in theory and practice.

I learned how to think about the people in my group and understand where they are coming from in terms of how they work and what they need. Extremely insightful and useful!
