AAPS Memo: End of Year Checklist 2020 and Happy Holidays

Dear AAPS Members,

As the end of the calendar year approaches, please review our annual End of Year Checklist for 2020. We have provided some helpful reminders regarding vacation carry-over, using your Health Spending Account and other resources you may find useful at this time of year.

While pundits try to find the right words to describe 2020, we want to say thank you. You have all worked hard to adjust to the evolving changes of the pandemic and still deliver on projects, services, leadership, and professional support to UBC.

As 2021 approaches, it is still not business as usual, and we are still in a global pandemic. The needs of your personal life may shift as Provincial Health Orders change, or you may be starting to feel a bit burnt out by the duration of the pandemic. That’s okay. We’re all doing our best.

We encourage you to take extra care of your health over the winter months and let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your employment contract with UBC.

We are here to provide confidential, professional advice that is in your best interest.

On behalf of the AAPS Board and staff, I wish you and your families a safe and relaxing holiday season.
