Give your input on the UBC presidential search

The UBC Presidential Search Committee will be hosting two open houses in the first week of July. While AAPS Board President Jacqueline Smit sits as a representative on the committee, we encourage all AAPS members to contribute their ideas to the committee in person or in writing.

The Search Committee is asking for input on “three fundamental questions”:

  1. Opportunities, challenges, issues, and priorities facing the University over the next 5-10 years
  2. Key roles and responsibilities of the President in leading UBC through the next 5-10 years
  3. Necessary and desirable characteristics, leadership skills, qualifications, values, and experience of candidates for the position of President
