Support Amidst Conflict in the Middle East
We understand that the recent escalations of conflicts in the Middle East have been impacting many of you. The large scale of attacks, confusing ceasefire circumstances, and significant civilian casualties in places like Iran have been distressing for many. The uncertainty can be incredibly upsetting for anyone with family and friends living in the region who may be impacted by airstrikes, evacuation orders, and any further escalations that put civilians at risk.
We understand that the ongoing conflict can be causing feelings of anxiety, fear, and powerlessness, especially when you’re watching it all happen from the other side of the world. Additionally, the images and videos coming out of civilian centres can be incredibly disturbing and triggering. We want to remind you all to take care of yourselves and your loved ones in this difficult time.
If you are deeply impacted and it is affecting your mental health and your ability to work, we encourage you to please reach out to us for a confidential conversation by completing the Advocacy Request Form available on our website. We will discuss what options may be available to you.
