About the Session

Feel more relaxed and be more successful with Zoom meetings.

It looks like we will be meeting online a lot in the coming year. If you have been thinking about how to improve your set-up and presence in front of the camera to make those online meetings and presentations more comfortable for yourself, this session is for you.

Actor and acting teacher Michael Bean will be offering simple and easy-to-apply tips for improving your technical set-up as well as advice and practices that will help everyone feel better about their next online meeting or presentation.

Audience

This introductory session is designed for any AAPS member who would like to improve their technical set-up for online presentations and learn some ways to feel more relaxed/honest/authentic when talking to colleagues online. Please note that this session will be highly participatory, be prepared to get involved and try things out. We'll be using the Zoom meeting platform with video and audio. About Your Facilitator

Michael Bean is one of the best respected coaches and acting teachers in Vancouver and has spent the last twenty years teaching professionally, in schools, studios, on-set, and on Zoom. Since the spring he's been teaching classes on Zoom almost every day, helping folks learn how to present well on camera and find a sense of connection.
