Collective Agreement


The 2019 Collective Agreement has been ratified by all parties and is in effect for the period July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2022.

Once we receive a copy of the collated Agreement from UBC, we will provide a PDF and update the searchable version of the Collective Agreement.

In the meantime, please refer to the Summary of ChangesFAQs, and Articles that have not changed, the 2014 Collective Agreement .

If you are on a term appointment that started prior to June 1, 2020 then you are still following the 2014 Collective Agreement regarding your notice period.

Please note the scheduled General Wages Increases (GWI) for 2019–2022 are as follows:

  • July 1, 2019 – 2%

  • July 1, 2020 – 2%

  • July 1, 2021 – 2%

  • The University will be notifying members with regards to the timeline for the implementation of the retroactive GWI increases
