On behalf of the AAPS Board of Directors, we are pleased to invite all AAPS Members to the Spring General Meeting on Friday, April 29, 2022.

We will be hosting this year’s meeting on the Zoom Meeting platform from 10:30am-12:00pm.

We will be providing you with an update on the Board’s Strategic Plan, bargaining consultations, and operational changes at AAPS. We will also be presenting the AAPS’ annual budget for your approval. After the meeting adjournment, there will be time for a general Q&A with AAPS Board members and staff.

Motions and voting on the Zoom platform

As we will be hosting the Spring General Meeting on the Zoom meeting platform, we will be using the polling feature for voting.

  1. The speaker will read and move the motion
     
  2. The speaker will ask that a member second the motion in Zoom Chat by typing, "I [your full name] second the motion" in the chat
     
  3. The speaker will ask if there is any discussion on the motion as presented
     
  4. A poll will be posted, and members will have the opportunity to vote "yes" or "no" (members who do not vote in the poll will be considered abstentions)
     
  5. A motion will be passed with a majority "yes" vote of the members present and voting

 

Motions

#1 "Be it resolved to accept the agenda for the 2022 AAPS Spring General Meeting as presented."

#2 "Be it resolved to approve the minutes of the 2021 AAPS Spring General Meeting as distributed."

#3 "Be it resolved that the 2022/2023 AAPS Budget be adopted as presented."

#4 "Be it resolved to appoint the firm of De Visser Gray LLP Chartered Accountants as the Association's auditors for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022."
