Program Description

Come welcome Spring with us! March 20 marks the Spring Equinox. It marks the New Year for some cultures, and across the board, there is a deep sense of freshness and newness. The days are getting longer, and the weather is starting to warm up. The ground is fertile and ready for us to get started. Change is in the air. What did you dream up during the winter, and what seeds are you planting now? What is just starting to bud and grow in your life?

Maybe there is a project that you have been incubating that needs to move forward with some tending and resourcing. Maybe, with the increase in light, you are ready to adapt your schedule and activities to move with the changing rhythms of the day. Maybe you have carved out this time for accountability with a practice or habit that you have been nurturing. Whether you want to reflect, evaluate, plan, dream, or move something forward, we’re looking forward to having you join us!

About Your Facilitators

Tara Robertson is a leadership coach and a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant. As a leadership coach, she helps underrepresented leaders in corporate careers go from underestimated and overworked to unapologetic and wildly successful.

She is an intersectional feminist who uses data and research to advocate for equality and inclusion. She brings 15 years’ experience leading change in open source technology communities and corporate spaces, including 3 years leading Diversity and Inclusion at Mozilla. As a consultant, she partners with senior leaders to help drive systemic change.

In her former lifetime, she was an academic librarian and has an MLIS from the University of British Columbia.

Em House, LCSW, MEd, PCC, CPCC (they/them) is a Co-Active Coach, a Gestalt therapist, and an educator hell-bent on helping folks reconnect with and re-wild the parts of us that were never meant to be domesticated. With a previous professional background in outdoor youth leadership, reproductive healthcare, identity-inclusive workplace changemaking, and grassroots political organizing, Em is a rock tumbler full of grit, shine, and fun, mixed with a firm commitment to move into the truth of things and create from the divine mess of human complexity. Em loves earth-based rituals, making art with friends, and navigating their 4-year-old daughter’s imaginative world.
