Caring for Each Other During Global Crises and Orange Shirt Day

We want to express our care and concern about the escalating situation in Iran, the ongoing war in the Ukraine, the hurricane that hit Florida, the impact of storms on the Atlantic coast of Canada and parts of Asia, and other crises that are happening around the world. AAPS President: Welcome to the new academic year

Dear AAPS Members,

The start of a new academic year is always a special time with new staff, students and faculty, new collaborations, and exciting conversations after the summer months. As the summer season closes, I wish to take this opportunity to welcome you all back to UBC and share with you some updates from AAPS.

Consider Joining the UBC Staff Pension Plan Board

If you’re interested in representing the interests of members and learning more about pension plan design and asset management, consider joining the UBC Staff Pension Plan Board. 

The UBC Staff Pension Plan is looking for 3 Board members to serve the Pension Board for either a 2 or 4-year term beginning January 1, 2023. The nomination process will close on October 6, 2022. Read more about Consider Joining the UBC Staff Pension Plan Board
